Limited Performance Warranty

Backbone Surf Co. products are intended for surfing use only.

Due to the nature of surfing and varying conditions, fins are subject to significant loads, impacts, and fatigue. Every design is tested in real conditions with a focus on strength, flex, and performance. But surfing is unpredictable, and no fin is unbreakable.

Backbone Surf Co. warrants products against defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from original purchase date. If a product is determined by Backbone Surf Co. to have failed due to a manufacturing defect under normal intended use, Backbone Surf Co. may repair or replace the product at its discretion.

This warranty excludes:

·   Damage from impacts, collisions, or grounding

·   Damage caused by improper installation or incompatible fin boxes

·   Damage from modifications or misuse

·   Cosmetic wear, scratches, or discoloration

·   Damage caused by excessive heat, UV exposure, or improper storage

·   Breakage resulting from unusually aggressive surfing, aerial maneuvers, or extreme wave conditions. If you break a fin doing something wild… honestly, we still want to hear about it.

Liability is limited to replacement of the product only. Backbone Surf Co. shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including damage to surfboards, fin boxes, personal injury, or loss of use.

If you break a fin outside these warranty conditions, contact us. We may offer discounted replacement pricing for damaged products on a case-by-case basis.

Proof of purchase may be required for warranty claims.
